Hiya! I have day off of school today, and I'm so bored that if boredom could kill ,I'd be dead. So, I thought I would make a list of what to do where you're bored! So here is a list of anti-social options to cure your boredom :-)
1. Make a blog: Pretty self-explanatory. It worked for me and it's quite nice to see that people are looking and enjoying your blog. It's also a nice record of your thoughts and I guess it be nice to look back on and you can make it your own! Just give it a go, what's the worst that could happen? 2.Go on Twitter: What I tend to do 9/10 times I'm bored. Yeah I need to get out a bit more... 3.Practice your hobby: Do something that you find fun - like your hobby. Like I blog for fun. Maybe draw your favorite artist or make a cake. I don't know whatever floats your boat. 4.Watch some old movies: Why not watch some childhood movies? Like Barbie or something. It's always nice to look back at old things. 5.Window Shop: Look around on the internet for clothes or stuff that you would like. Then make a list of these things and cross them off every time you get one of the items. It's quite rewarding haha
Well, those are some of the things I like to do. I'm not that interesting, am I? ah well, Hope you're all having a good day.
So, Recently I wrote a blog post about my ' embarrassing moments' It was quite fun sharing my moments with you, so I thought why not share some more :-)
Zara Philips
I was about seven when me and family went to a horse and dog fair with my friends (Holly's) family. I was quite excited about it, being an excitable 7 year old and all. The day started very well, we watched horses galloping around, dogs walking their owners around the fair. It was about lunchtime, and we went into a field to eat some lunch (it was nice weather so the ground was dry, don't worry) Me and Holly were messing around and *ahem* throwing deer poo at each other *ahem* we were 7 okay but still that is an embarrassing story as it is, let alone what happens next. So we were throwing poo at each other and at the exact moment I shouted 'SHE THREW POO AT ME' Only Zara Philips went passed us on her horse. If I remember correctly, She gave me the most unapproving look ever. Oh if looks could kill...Does this count as meeting her though?
'Hello?' All my embarrassing memories seem to involve Holly... funny that. This one is quite recent actually,ok so me and Holly were in English, and the whole class was on a break. During the break, a male English teacher sat down in my English teacher's chair. This is a really normal thing, but for some reason I found it unacceptable .The male teacher looked around the chatting class innocently, but when he looked at me,he looked confused. This is because I was not only staring at him, but I gave him a look that if it could speak, it would say ' what are you doing in my English teachers chair get out of my territory'. He obviously saw this and replied with a confused and patronising 'Hello'. I then replied with a very spiteful 'hello', sounding like a stroppy toddler. Just be happy you're not me.
Well that's it really, I hope you got a kick out of my embarrassment.
I got inspired to do this post because of a twitter trend that was something about school, but it got me thinking. My school cares more about uniform than education. I mean we get uniform detentions if our skirts are higher than 8cm above the knee, so obviously being in a senior school a lot of girls get uniform detentions.
My school also cares more about exam result stats and how the school looks to other people than the pupils. What I mean by this is that my headteacher will push the student aka me so hard until the pupil is mentally drained and physically exhausted. But hey ho as long as I produce good exam results he really doesn't care.
I go to one of the top 20 schools in the UK, I am quite lucky. But my school is only one of the top 20 because of the blood sweat and tears from both the pupils and the teachers. and those aren't tears of happiness, they're tears of utter exhaustion and pressure. I bet you if our headteacher had a chance he'd make us work 24/7 (we weren't even aloud to watch Christmas movies on the last day of term before Christmas, I know right!)
So yeah this was a pretty random and probably boring post but I've run dry on blog post ideas at the moment. What does your school/college do that you don't like?
Hello! hope you all had a good weekend! I have a lot of pet hates, these are just a few haha!
Loud eaters : This annoy's everyone and yet still people do it. They just sit there chewing with there mouth open, oblivious to everyone else nearby. The worst type of Loud eaters are the gum chewers. You know the ones that chew gum extra loud so that everyone in a 100 meter radius can here them. ugh
Nail biters: I have nothing against people biting their nails, I mean it's your choice and all but when people do it in front of me or next to me, that's when I can't stand it. Whenever we get put in a seating plan in a class, I always get put next to the nail-biter. I literally sit there clenching my fists to stop me from pulling their hand away from their mouth.
Slow walkers: This annoys me so so much. It's a cold day, and it's raining and you just want to go home but there's always that annoyingly loud group of kids who think its cool to not have any consideration for others and walk at the speed of a snail. I don't mind it if it's old ladies or old couples, I mean obviously they don't mean it, but it's the teenagers who blatantly know they're holding everyone up that really get under my skin.
Fast walkers: I'm so fussy but I also hate fast walkers. I'm one of those people who walk fast, but always make sure that I don't pressure the people in front to walk faster. However, I always get the little kids behind me who are basically walking on my heels and hence literally pushing me faster.
Millets: This is a weird one, but I absolutely cannot stand the outdoors shop 'Millets'. Even if you drag me in by a rope, I will still refuse go to in. I don't know why, but it makes me feel cranky and annoyed even at the thought of going in.
So these are 5 of my pet hates, Please let me know yours!
Hiya guys! First of all, Thank goodness it's Friday! I thought as I reached 500 views yesterday (yay) I would do a *special* post. So, Here in my top 10 favorite things in my room! Enjoy :) x
1. My Birthday Card from Stefan Abingdon
If you read one of my last posts, It's about me and who are my inspirations (you can look at it here) Stefan Abingdon is one of them. If you don't know who he is please google it otherwise you won't understand this. He's in my favorite band (the midnight beast) so this is pretty special. My best friend Holly did this for me, and It is probably one of the best presents I've ever gotten. (So thanks Holly x) About 2 months before my birthday, Holly hinted about this present and I had know idea what she was getting me, but when she presented this to me I was speechless. This really does mean alot to me, It always makes me smile :') THANK YOU STEFAN XXX
2. My 'dropout' top
I got this top for Christmas from Lazy Oaf and it is probably my all time favorite top. I will wear this at every opportunity I can, no question about it. I like it because of the bright bold colours, it adds a splash of color to whatever you wear. Also because I find it go's with anything, because it's so causal and bold. The price of this in store is £38 but I found a brand new one on ebay just before Christmas for about £10! Bargain.
3. Lana Del Rey Album
Yeah ok so the picture isn't great and neither are my nails but this album is probably one of my most favorite things. I don't know how I began to like Lana Del Rey, one day I listened to her album and I don't know, she hypnotised me, I guess. Ever since I brought this album she has grown on me, quite a lot actually. I really recommend you buy it, once you get over how depressive the songs sound at first, they're actually really beautiful.
4. 'The fault in our stars' By John Green
I heard about this book from Twitter so I thought why not give it a go, and It has now turned into my favorite book. I finished it within about 2 days, which for me is pretty impressive. I really enjoyed this because for one it's beautifully written and two the story line. It has twists and turns like any book, but the ending is truly devastating. It also has a lot of deep messages in there but you'll have to read it to find out the rest. ;)
5. My personalised bracelet.
This is a horrible picture and frankly my nails are an embarrassment to human kind, but this is a personalised bracelet that Holly got me for Christmas from a store called Lynsey Luu. I also got her one for her nickname. Basically, me and Holly are like JD and Turk from the TV programme 'Scrubs'. We have a pathetic excuse of a life and that's pretty much how we became friends, because we both took pity on each other haha. In scrubs, JD and Turk call each other 'Vanilla bear' (JD is called that because he is white) and 'Chocolate bear) ( Turk is black - not being racist) So me and holly have given ourselves the names 'Ginger Bear' ( me obviously) and 'Toffee Bear' (Holly - wow this is a lot of brackets.) We thought it'd be funny if we got them engraved on bracelets for each other, yay.
6. My clock
I can't remember where this is from or how much it is, but it's pretty damn cool. It's a 8-bit clock that actually works, although you can never tell what the specific time it is. You just have to estimate really. I really like this because it's so original and quirky.
7. Catastrophe Cosmetic
I did a review on this a couple of days ago ( you can read that here) I really really like this face mask, it's refreshing and moisturising. Unfortunately, when I took this picture it was empty so I need to get another one of these soon!
8. Dance Mat Necklace
I got this for Christmas also from Lynsey Luu. This is probably my favorite necklace because I just love it really, it's so unique and quirky that I just couldn't resist it. As you can tell, I like quirky things.
9. Disco Ball Nail vanish
In my eyes, this is the most beautiful item ever created. It is clear nail vanish with multicolored glitter inside, and frankly it's a must have. If you want to add a bit of sparkle to your nail's, just apply this over the top and it instantly creates glamorous look. This one is 500 Disco Ball by Rimmel London.
10. Tie Dye Jumper
~Excuse the messy room ~ This jumper is from Urban Outfitters and I think it was about £45? I got this back in June so I don't know if they still sell it. I can't describe why I like this jumper, I just do.
~Well sorry it was such a long post but thank you for reading and I'll see you Monday! :) ~
~HELLO EVERYONE! ~ So tonight is a very special night because I reached 500 views!! I cannot tell you how grateful I am for the views, comments and +1's (is that what you call them?) on all my posts, It's always so nice to know people are enjoying your posts. Thank you so much for anyone who is following me and anyone who even glanced at my blog. The fact that I got 500 views in less than a month of blogging is really mind blowing for me. So thank you so so much and I'll do a special post tomorrow! :)
♥As sad as it is, I can't send every single person who reads my blog a present... So here is a virtual one!♥
We all have embarrassing moments where you cringe just by thinking about it, So I thought I'd share mine with you. Just to embarrass myself a little more :)
Cocky Karma This happened a long time ago, but my best friend still taunts me about it pretty much everyday. It happened when we were both in year 4,and we were in the lunch hall having lunch. In our school, you had to get permission to leave the hall by raising your hand and waiting for a dinner lady to dismiss you. Normal people would get up as you do and leave when you have finished my lunch, but me being me, I wanted to shake things up a little. So, whilst my arm was in the air waiting a dinner lady to notice me, I whispered to my friend "I'm going to get out of my seat in style" I still remember how smug I was about it haha. I expected that I'd get up and maybe shake my hips a little to make my friend laugh. Finally the dinner lady noticed me, and I was permitted to leave. I got up but as I took my first step I noticed that my foot was still around one of the chair legs, and so I face planted the floor in front of the whole school. I remember a dinner lady trying desperately to contain a laugh whilst helping me up. I glanced over at my friend as she was had no fear in holding back hysteric laughs. Now I think back on it, I probably had my underwear on show. Brilliant. Shoe on the roof Ok so the title is pretty self explanatory. It was year 6 and me and my friends were having a laugh at Lunchtime. I was known amongst my friends for having massive shoes, so we started playing this game were we would see how far we could flick our shoes with our feet. It was actually really amusing. It was my go to flick my shoe and when I flicked it my friend grabbed it and wouldn't give it back (as a joke of course) This bit is a bit of a blur, long story short it ended up on the school roof. As if it wasn't embarrassing enough having to walk into class with one shoe and having to tell the headteacher my shoe is on the roof, We had assembly. So I had to go into assembly in front of the whole school wearing my bright white PE trainers. Talk about eye-catching... Then, if you think that's bad enough,we were in the middle of a school prayer. It was all silent until everyone looked up at the ceiling because we could hear the janitor stepping across the roof to get my shoe. I still remember to this day how red I went. Imagine a ripe tomato and then dye it red. That was my face at that moment. Well these are two of my embarrassing stories, I have plenty more but that's for another day. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this and If you have an embarrassing stories that you'd like to share, feel free to leave them below :)
Exams. Even the word sickens me. There is an 'X' in 'Exam' for a reason. X is one of the last letters in the alphabet and exams are one of the last things anybody wants to do.
This last week, I've been really stressed because of exams. For instance, yesterday I had a CAT (Controlled Assessment Task) in every lesson! A CAT is basically coursework that you're not aloud to take home. I think this might bore you, but I'm just expressing my opinions on exams.
Exams are all good for braniac's who basically breathe out knowledge , but for people like me who panic in tests and pretty much forget how to think as soon as you enter the hall, It's not the best way to demonstrate what we know. I'm fine in class and I revise (where it's necessary) but for some reason it just doesn't pay off in the actual test. Then I get myself down because I know I could've done better but I didn't. It doesn't make it any better when people come out and discuss the answers, because I panic thinking 'I didn't get that answer... maybe their wrong? maybe I'm wrong?' and then it just stays on my mind.
So what I've learnt from doing various mock exams and CATS is that you can only do your best. Unfortunately, you may think your best isn't good enough, but don't stress yourself out about it. I've come to know my limits and I know how well I can do.
So these are some top tips on how to do well in exams:
Identify Topics you don't understand and revise them: We all know that the one topic you don't understand will be in the exam for sure, so It's best to try to understand it or get someone else to explain it again.
Don't stress: The exam hall can be pretty scary, but just breathe because everyone else is feeling the same.
Believe in yourself: I always think to myself If I believe I can do it, I'm half way there.
Hey... maybe I should start following my own tips! Especially the last one!
Hello again! So recently I thought you know what? I want a change. I'm getting bored of looking at the same walls everyday. So I have decided to spice up my life (did I really just put a Spice girls reference in my post I'm sorry) with a little room change. I'm going to decorate my bedroom more, because I haven't really spent any money on my room and now's as good a time as any! I'm kinda going for the shabby chic look but with my own twist, whether this will work or not I don't know... but It's worth a go! So these are some of things I shall be buying later on and hopefully in the future I shall be buying more :-) 1.The first thing is a Mini shelf for jewellery storage. I just think it's really cute and different to every other jewellery holder. It's also good for holding Nail vanish! £12 from Urban Outfitters BARGAIN! 2.The second Item is a blogging book, purely because I found it and thought it would be useful. This is also from Urban outfitters and it's £5! 3.The third thing is two simple white frames, with a nice vintage design. They're £5 each from Urban Outfitters, so not too bad. 4. Some indoor flowery fairy lights, just to hang around the room and give a nice calm atmosphere. The ones I chose are from Amazon and they're £5. 5. The next thing on my list is a pick up book, just for a little boost every now and then. The book is from Amazon and it's £4.50 6. This is another pick up book, from Amazon for £6 ish. 7. The last thing is Sass & Belle Flying Birds from Urban outfitters. They're on sale so they're about £7 :)

~As always, Thank you for reading!~
p.s I hit 400 views yesterday and I can't thank you enough thank you thank you thank you
So I noticed that some of my most popular posts and the ones with the most feedback were about me in general, So I was wondering if there is anything in particular that you want to know about me? Like my top 10 favorite things in my room, my background etc. I'm not trying to sound stuck up here, I just recognised what most of you are interested in and I what to put out more things like that, more posts that you'd enjoy.
If there is anything you want me to write about, or any opinions you want me to share, Please leave a comment! Also, if you do want to know more about me, please leave some questions! If you are going to leave questions, you can make them as weird and wonderful as you like - but please nothing too personal :-)
♥ Thank you for reading my posts and I hope you're all having a good day ♥
This is going to be awkward if nobody comments oops
Catastrophe Cosmetic is a organic face mask from one of my favorite pampering shops, Lush. This product is infused with fresh Blueberries, so obviously once you apply it, it's really refreshing. It's retail price in £5.75 - which you may think is quite expensive for a 75g pot (I did at first) but trust me, this natural beauty deserves to be. It will last you a good two weeks if you apply a generous amount every other day. If you want to keep the fresh, crisp and natural feel to this mask when you slap it on, then you need to keep it in the fridge (as it's made from organic ingredients and all)
I got encouraged to try this (thank god I did) by the one and only Zoella and I don't regret it at all. I'm lucky enough to have naturally healthy and clear skin, but even after the first use of this, my skin felt so much smoother and I noticed a lack of spots! Lush say that 'this is basically your bast mate in a pot', and I can see why. It calms, soothes and cools the skin. If your best friend doesn't do that, then get this instead. I really recommend trying this if you have fairly spotty, sensitive or dry skin.It does the job! Like i said, the only trouble with this is that it needs to be kept in the fridge, which i found was a bit annoying as I had to go downstairs, retrieve it from the fridge and put it back afterwards. But it was totally worth it - no doubt. Also, another slight downer is that it expires after about 2 weeks, which makes me want to use it all as quickly as possible. But hey, you can't change the fact that Blueberries go off, I'd rather have a natural product that last two weeks than a artificial product that last six months!
You know what's even better? Lush now do an offer that if you return 5 pots or tubes from used lush products, you get a free face mask! This will definitely be my first choice. What could be better than getting a best friend in a pot for free?
~ As always, Thank you for reading and hope you have had a good day, I know I have! :) ~
So, as you probably already know, over 200 schools were closed today and thankfully mine was one of them! The amount of excitement I felt when I saw 'School is closed' on the website was unbelievable. I feel like a 5 year old again ha - and I'm sure everyone else did too! So whilst I was pelting my dog with snowballs (don't worry she likes that, it's not animal abuse ok) I realised how lucky I am to have such a happy home life. I know it's cheesy and I'm probably just saying this because I'm still suffering from post no-school-because-lots-of-snow excitement, but it's true. We always get on so well and aw life's cute.
Even though I have a happy home life, I know some people don't. So if anyone needs to talk, I'm always here, ok? ♥
I hope everyone (who has snow) is enjoying the snow as much as me!
I hope everyone is having a brilliant day, even if you're at school or don't have snow :-)
Hiya! Well this is my ninth post and I'm really enjoying blogging daily/every other day. Although I blog about everything and anything, I haven't really blogged about me and who I am. SO I found some questions to answer about myself so you get to know me. If you enjoy this, please feel free to use the same questions and answer them yourselves. :-)
1. What's your full name?
Myfull name is Carys Emily Kate Morris. I quite like having a uncommon name, it makes me feel special. However, I can never find ANYTHING with my name on it.
2. When were you born and where?
I was born on the 9th of June 1998 in Mayday hospital in Croydon. However I'm currently living in the countryside :-)
3. Do you have any siblings?
Yes, I have an older sister who I like most of the time but we do have little fights every now and then. But overall we have a lot in common :~) (I know she's reading this so I have to be nice)
4. Are you at school?
I am, I'm in senior school and have just started my GCSE's , which is stressful. Although, at the weekends, I work at Cats Protection which I absolutely adore. What I like about school is the people you meet, but at the same time that's what I hate about school too, haha. I also hate getting up early, just like every other teenager in existence.
5. What are you saving up for?
I'm saving up for an white Iphone 4S but I've been debating whether to get one for ages. Obviously they're really nice phones but they're ridiculously overpriced. Even if I did have money to spare, I'd find it hard to spend that much money on one thing. 6. Favorite activity? Fangirling over various bands and youtuber's are all I know how to do so that's about all I do really. 7. Favorite Colour? I really like warm and fresh colours such as Greens, Blues and Reds. Which is ironic because those are the colours of my favorite band.
8. Most overused saying?
'omg' or 'hahahhaha' or 'lolz' all in a totally non serious way of course.
9. My favorite movie?
TITANIC every time! I just love how they Incorporated a heart breaking love story into a real life tragedy ...oh and because of Leonardo DiCaprio of course.
FINALLY 10. Greatest inspiration?
I've mentioned her millions of times before, but I'd have to say Zoe Sugg or more known as Zoella. I really like her mostly because of her blog, the way she just opens up and expresses herself so excellently is what inspires me. She's the reason I started this blog, and maybe one day , I'd like to have the same effect on someone.
My other inspiration would probably be Mr Stefan Abingdon because he is so determined and hard working to be where he is now, he came from nothing and broke through this ever changing music industry. He has made something of himself. The best part is he enjoys what he does, I'd love to find a job that I genuinely had an interest in.
For Christmas, I got given a Lush cosmetics gift box. In this gift box I got a limited edition bath bomb (I sound like an obsessed collector) called 'Father Christmas' the name is pretty self explanatory.
The bath bomb started off as they all do, fizzing viciously as the water reacts with the chemicals. But after about 30 seconds the creamy beard of Santa melts away and then the pinkish layer divides into four to reveal a bold green center. As the green center melts away, you start to notice gold glitter. By the time the bath bomb has fizzed to death, you are left with a beautifully smelling glittery green bath, sticking to the festive season. I thoroughly enjoyed this bath bomb, however it leaves behind quite a bit of mess because of the glitter. It smelt like cinnamon and Christmas in general and therefore immediately took me back to the festive season. It was also quite a good size: you got a lot for the money. Unfortunately, this was a seasonal bath bomb so it won't be around again until next Christmas, but I suggest you keep your eyes open for it! I'm definitely getting this one again. :~)
Dan Howell and Phil Lester are youtuber's who have pretty much dominated the whole entire universe via your computer screens. But now, they're jumping out of your computer screens and into your ears (not literally - don't expect them to be in your ears) What I mean by that is every Sunday for the rest of the year or I quote 'until Dan says something wrong and get's us fired' they will be hosting a 2 hour radio show on Radio one from 7 - 9pm (GMT) They did their first ever one yesterday and I guess this is my review on it.
As soon as Dan and Phil starting talking, no exaggeration the whole of twitter just exploded with fangirls rolling on the floor sobbing because of too many 'feels' . Not going to lie, I was one of them but that's irrelevant. They way they were so genuine and down to earth is what made the radio show pretty damn good. Throughout the show (which you can watch online) they encouraged fans to request songs. ALL the songs were amazing as most people had a brilliant music taste. But it was just the cherry on top when both Dan and Phil kept pressing the wrong buttons. For example, Dan was meant to play a sound effect or a door opening to welcome the callers in, but instead he pressed a button which was a sound effect of a women screaming. This then raised the question, why was they even a sound effect for a women screaming?
As you can tell, this was just a little sneak peak at the show, If it sounds interesting to you than please listen live every Sunday on BBC radio one from 7-9 pm, you won't regret it!
Girls, this post goes out to you. How many times have you
compared yourselves to a prettier, smarter and overall better girl? Yeah, me
too. I don’t know where this came from or in which time period it developed,
but girls seem to have the tendency to compare themselves to others: this is
when I wish I was a boy and couldn't give an F…flip.
Unfortunately, Girls are known to worry and over think things. Every girl has that image in her head of what she wished she looked
like, and then when you see another girl who has something you desire, that’s
when we start comparing ourselves. There have been plenty of times where I've seen people is the street and thinking 'I
wish I looked like her, oh I wish I was that skinny, I wish I had her fashion
sense,' I wish…I wish. And you know what? I've had enough of it. I’m fed up of getting myself down because I’m
not that person. I’m fed up of comparing myself to others when I have a lot of
myself to be proud about. It’s a vicious cycle, but that girl who has that hair
you want or the face you want also compares herself to others. She also wishes
for better skin or better legs or whatever it maybe. The fact is, you may not
think you’re beautiful because you’re you, you look at yourself every day in the
mirror and you have just got used to that reflection. But someone out there is
jealous of at least one (or more) of your features, you're desirable, with all your imperfections and flaws. So, the next time you compare
yourself to somebody, just remember somebody is comparing there selves to you.
I can guess you’re thinking “me? Why compare yourselves to me? I’m just me.”
But Like I said, you see yourself every day in the mirror, somebody who’s
admiring you doesn't see your reflection every day and so see’s your beauty
that you've gotten
used to.
Look, what I’m trying to get a here is to be proud of who
you are, because although you may not have that special quality or look that
you oh-so-desperately desire, you have something that someone else is jealous
of; you have something that someone else wants that you’re not appreciating. Don’t think ‘I wished I looked like her’ but
think I’m proud of who I am. There’s always going to be someone better than you
(as depressing as that is) so stop searching for them, and appreciate that
you’re you, with all your imperfections, and that’s something nobody else can be. I mean unless scientists
and electronic engineers get a move on (I mean c’mon it’s 2013, we’re meant to be
flying about on hover cars) and create a machine where you can swap lives with
someone else, Being you is all you can be.
After all, if everyone was perfect, wouldn't this be a
perfectly boring world?
"Imperfection is Beauty; Madness is Genius;and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring"
- Marilyn Monroe
♥enjoy being YOU♥
♥ Once again, thank you for reading ♥
Oh and by the way, this song is beyond relevant to this blog post, and plus everyone needs a bit of blunt. Enjoyyy
Hello, I'd just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has read my posts as I now have 100+ views on this blog! I didn't even think I'd get 10, let alone a 100! It may not be a big deal to most of you, but it does mean a lot to little country girls like me knowing that people have taken the time to view my blog and possibly read it haha! So yeah I just wanted to say thank so much to anyone who even clicked on my blog. Your time here hasn't gone unnoticed! ♥
Hiya, So It's always on my mind about what I want to be when I'm older. I'm not one of those people who aim to be an astronaut or a future prime minister because I think it's better to set your aims low and be pleased when you do better than expected, rather than setting aims high and being disappointed when you don't reach your goals. If you get me. Many people set their standards high to give them something to aim for, but I just do the best I can and hope that's enough to get me to where I want to be. So, without further ado, here are some of the things I would like to be when I'm older:
= A tour bus driver =
Can you imagine driving much adored bands/singers around different countries on tours? You're being paid to go on a road trip constantly and who doesn't like a good road trip? Imagine, you could be driving around America, or England or Australia for days on end. Surely a road trip around America is everyone's dream deep down. I'm not going to lie, but I think I would be really arrogant and cocky to the whoever band i'm driving around fans, because I get to be with them 24/7 and see them in their boxers whilst the fangirls just kiss their posters. HA
= A radio presenter=
As you can probably tell, I like to talk. So I think a radio presenter would be amazing. You can talk about anything on air and interview lots awesome people. You also don't get judged on what you look like because all that people see is your voice. Unless you have a really annoying voice, Nothing can go wrong.
= A Concert bouncer =
Yeah so it doesn't sound as good as it looks but hey ho. In case you don't know, concert bouncers are the people at the front of concerts maybe handing out water or just supervising really. You basically get to the front of gigs for free. Although, I'd probably get fired for going in with the crowd and letting fans on stage haha oops. It'll be a good experience I think.
= Work in Costa/Starbucks/Lush =
Costa Coffee, Starbucks and Lush. You'd get a staff discount. enough said.
Well, That's all at the moment. I'd like to do something with animals but I'm not sure what area yet. I'm pretty sure in a few years time I'll look back at this and laugh. Well to the future me, You're probably sitting on your fat ass so you can't say anything.
For me, 2012 was overall a great year. For everything bad that happened,a good thing happened too. It counter balanced really. So everyday was alright, some better than others. However out of the whole 366 days of 2012 (It was a leap year), The 6th of October was a particularly brilliant one. I'll tell you why now.
I had been planning this day for about a year, so I expected it to go perfectly. I'd thought through every aspect of the day, I thought about taking umbrellas in case it rained, I was prepared for anything for nothing was going to ruin that day. You could say I was 'expecting the unexpected' and to be honest at the end of the day I was quite pleased when everything did go perfectly. Everything I had imagined had happened. Right, so what actually happened? If you don't know, I'm absolutely obsessed with a bad called The Midnight Beast and so the 6th of October was going to be the first time I'd seen them live, that makes it a pretty big deal. SO, my friends who were coming with me came around before hand, then we got in the car (obviously) and drove to Bournemouth where we were going to see them. Having 3 overexcited hyperactive teenagers in a car was a challenge for my parents haha.
We got there about 11 and queued for a good 7 hours. During this wait, we made friends with the people next to us (who I'm still in contact with now) and we also found out that the first 50 people in the queue were to meet this beloved band. So obviously we become even more hyperactive (I didn't even know It was possible to reach such a high level of excitement.) When it was time to meet them, we were hysterical on the inside but actually surprisingly calm and playing it cool on the outside. Since we had meet and greet, we got to go in first which meant that we got to the front for the concert, as you can see below we were extremely pleased with ourselves.
So the concert was absolutely amazing as expected, after they went of stage we just stood there like 'NO WHERE ARE YOU GOING COME BACK' but sadly, we were forced to leave. The funny thing is even our intense love for the midnight beast couldn't compete with getting a drink instead of waiting for them afterwards. We got our drinks, drove home and literally flopped on the bed. Best day ever = Completed.
I normally never get too excited about a day because (knowing my luck) something would go wrong, but luck changed on that day, and I questioned whether the emotion of sadness still existed.
Happy belated Christmas and New year! Hope you all had a good one.♥
You know every year, It's new years day and you decide you're going to complete your new year resolution(s)? This is how it normally goes, for the first couple of minutes days, it goes well. You know you're not eating what you're not meant to, you're doing what you said you would. But then you give up and just think 'There's always next year'. I normally do this, but this year is different. I'm making a blog (finally) and I'm so determined to keep it up and update regularly. I don't care if I have no followers by the end of the year, at least I've done it. At least I completed my news years resolution. Who knows I might even carry on with it afterward this year is up!! I don't even know what I'm going to write about, probably anything and everything. If you would like me to write about something, or share an opinion on something, Just leave a comment and I'll get right on it.
This is just an Idea, but I would be very grateful if anyone did leave any suggestions ♥ Thanks for reading ♥
Hello everyone!! I'm new to blogging, so bare with me whilst I get the hang of it. This blog won't be exactly funny nor interesting or frankly worth your time, but I have wanted to make a blog for a long time now, but just never had the courage. So, here I am. I got inspired to create a blog by Zoella's blog. ~~ =Who is Zoella?= Zoella is a youtuber who makes videos about beauty and fashion, she also (as you would know if you clicked the link) is a fantastic blog writer. In fact, her 'Just Say Yes' post is probably one of the most inspiring and my most favorite blog post...ever! I definitely recommend you check that out if you suffer from anxiety or you're just shy, it helped me a lot. So, If you like make up and beauty, or are just curious about new products, I definitely recommend subscribing to her. It's funny because I'm not particularly girly, but I love watching her videos. ~~ Well this went a bit off topic, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I've ended up recommending her to you! She's not paying me to do this either, haha. So yeah thank you to that small handful of people who read this, You've probably realised by now that you'll never get those minutes back you spent reading this, sorry about that ....
