Nails Painted

Hello Everyone! I just thought I'd do a quick post to show you my nails! That sound slightly weird but I have painted them. This is a privilege for me as we're not aloud painted nails at my school (frankly I don't see how they're distracting but whatever, my school is basically a prison so they might as well go the whole way and announce that they're taking in criminals) So yeah, here are my nails for you nail lovers! :) 

I decided to do the ol' claw around the nail polish to show what I used but instead it looks really dramatic like I'm about to run off and grabbed my most prized possession in the mad panic.

 So, I did three coats to get this look, I made it very natural as I wasn't really in the mood for something bright (Also because I recently bought a new top that's pink and as I shall obviously be wearing it a lot, I decided to match it to my nails. I am smart you know) First I used the base layer, which was the pale pink. This nail vanish came in a pack so it has no name, but you could easily get the same colour with any other pale pink nail varnish. I then reapplied this on top to get a stronger colour and then let this to dry. (It sounds like I'm giving you a tutorial on how to paint nails) Then I used Rimmel London's Disco Ball 500 as a top layer, which just made it a little more eye catching. 
That's it really, plain and simple. As I have two weeks off, you can expect a lot more of these nail tutorials or whatever you call them! :)

Happy Easter!!

Hello Everyone! So today, I broke up from school (thank god, I couldn't bare it any longer) for two weeks because of Easter!! I'm looking forward to a lot of late nights and layins...oh and eating as many Easter eggs as I can whilst thinking "I'll start my diet tomorrow" pft I sit on the throne of lies. ~ woo ~ So I hope you all have a egg-cellent (sorry) break! As much as I would love to give you all Easter eggs, I can't. So here is a virtual one for all of you!( It's Hotel Chocolat you lucky people) Have a good break ^.^

Liebster Blog Award #3

Hello Everyone! Sorry I haven't posted lately, I've been really busy with revision and exam work, but I won't bore you with that. I thought I should mention that I saw The Script at the 02 Arena Saturday night and it was absolutely amazing, no words can describe it. Danny O'Donoghue (the lead singer) cried after I think it was Breakeven because the crowd just kept clapping and screaming (Including me, I'm not ashamed) So I really recommend you see them, definitely worth it!

1. I take Media, Spanish and ICT for GCSE, aswell as all the core subjects (Science, Math, PE, English etc etc) 
2. I absolutely hate Spanish. I don't hate Spain or Spanish people, just the process of learning Spanish.

1. What makes you different from other Bloggers?

Well, I don't really have a theme and I did this on purpose. I wanted to be able to blog about anything with the boundaries you get with having a theme, you know? Hopefully this is more refreshing. However, If I did have a big interest in something that was worth blogging about, I would have a theme.
2. What is your TOP 5 favorite songs of all time?
Of all time?! Well my favorite song changes pretty much every day so um this is going to be hard. I always come back to loving the song 'Just Say Yes' by Snow Patrol because It has a really thoughtful meaning and has actually helped me a lot. *Looks at my most played on my itunes libary* I really like 'Radio' by Lana Del Rey, 'Star Girl' by Mcfly, 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved' by The script (amazing live by the way) and 'Time Is Running Out' by Muse. These will probably change by this evening, knowing me.
3. What hobbies do you like to do outside of blogging/the things you blog about?
I like relaxing really. I'm a typical teenager, as soon as I assume the internet browsing position, I'll stay there for a good 4+ hours. But every once in a while, I like to go outside.
4. Would your perfect off night be relaxing alone or out with friends?
Well it depends what mood I'm in really, sometimes I feel lonely and want to be around friends, other times I get this awkward mood (inspiration for my name slightly awkward ginger yh yh) where I don't want to be with anyone because I have overdosed on social interaction or whatever.
5. Where is your dream place to travel to?
I have always always wanted to travel America, at one point in my life I would like to see all of it, just go on a road trip. At the moment, I really would like to visit Florida! Seems perfect, but I'll wait until my family circumstances are right.
6. What is your favorite season/weather?
Well in Winter, It's Summer and in Summer, it's Winter. So at the moment, It's Summer.
7. What is your favorite animal?
Sloth
8. What is you all time favorite Beauty Product?
I'm quite young so I haven't really experimented with beauty products... but I would like to try a 'Nars' beauty pallet.
9. Who is your favorite female celebrity and why?
Zoe Sugg (Zoella) without a doubt. I can't explain my admiration for her. She has perfected her imperfections and is absolutely beautiful. She is my Idol and I think if I met her I would cry.

I like reading reviews on products and recommendations as I like to try things out :-)

I really like Scrubs as I'm basically JD.

Back to Normal

Hello Everyone! So I have my internet back and I feel like a part of me has returned, it's weird. You know when you lose your most prized possession  and then you find it years later when it's not that special, yeah it's like that.(not saying the internet isn't special because it is) I realised how much times have changed where without the internet, I genuinely don't know what to do with myself, it's crazy. What if the internet had never been invented? I would never be writing this, you wouldn't be reading this and my head hurts so I'm going to stop thinking those horrible thoughts.

Anyway, I would just like to tell you about this new website I found! It's called 'Wantworthy' and basically it's a website where you list all the things you want to buy. Now, you may be thinking 'that's too much hassle to think of everything and list it down' but when you sign up for this website (it's free) you get this button which you put in your bookmarks or tabs or whatever, and when you see an item you like, you simply click the button and it adds it to your list! I absolutely love it!

Also, once you've made your list, you can enter a competition that Zoella is holding where you can win £500 of your wantworthy list! Basically, you get £500 of the stuff you want! amazing.

Internet Update

Hello everyone!! How are you? I still have no Internet and so I'm currently picking my friends hair of the keyboard (we're not animals ok shes just molting...she's a bit weird, but then again so am I) No but seriously, The BT man says that it will be up to 6 weeks without Internet *sobs in the corner*. If you read my last blog post you will see that my lovely friend Lauren provided me with tea, cake and Internet. Today, I'm round my other friends house who isn't so lovely, i just was so Internet deprived. I thought I'd do the same thing and let Holly write a little paragraph... oh lord I'm scared.

Here is holly who didn't provide me with cake.

"We don't have cake so that is why Carys didn't get any. I am the person who is probably responsible for 90% of Carys' embarrassing moments, the rest is just her clumsiness. That's about it really...my life is probably just about as interesting as dead bug's or a paralysed sloth so you can get the jist of it so um yeah I'm out umm yeah bye."

As you can tell, my and Holly get along so well because we both have nothing really going on in our lives.

No Internet

Hello everyone!  How are you? I have a very sad story to tell you all. It's very hard to talk about...are  you ready?  

... On Monday evening, a very stupid lorry driver crashed his lorry into my roads internet pole (i don't know what they're called) and now *deep breath* I have no Internet and I feel like I'm caveman!

 So today, my very charitable friend offered me her Internet. ((And some tea and cake, very stereotypically British))  so I thought, to show her how grateful I am, she can write a blog post! So, without further ado, Here is my saviour and Internet provider ( she sounds like BT) LAUREN!! 

Hello I'm lauren. I don't know what to write, it's all so new to me. Okay... So basically I was like fangirling when Carys (slightly awkward ginger as you may know her) told me I was going to be part of her blog post coz I'm like her biggest fan and I'm going to start a slightly awkward cardom (Carys fandom) jks I don't enough email accounts to start one but I would if I could.  I literally don't know how Carys is coping without Internet, like what would you do? Read a book? Eat? Play chess? HOW DO YOU COPE?!!!!!!! (If anyone has any suggestions please comment... Although she has no Internet so she won't see it until its too late and no longer needed) well I'm off now, I feel like I've completed a mission... ADIOS AMIGOS lol love lauren :)<3

Exciting newz

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? It's half way through the week so not far to the next weekend. *Thank god* Anyway, I'm just doing a quick update as I'm quite busy at the moment with GCSE's blah blah blah... 

well, my sister is getting better, she has been back to the hospital since Monday but she's doing alright :-) and some exciting newsss! (well it's more exciting for me than it is for you but hey ho I though you'd want to know) I have booked some concert tickets for The Midnight Beast and Bastille at the Great Escape Festival in Brighton! I'm so so happy to go and see my 2 favorite bands ON THE SAME DAY! Obviously they're at different times with a good 5 hours inbetween but that's just gives me a excuse to go to the beach :~) and I'm seeing The Script in 17 days! I'm a busy bee this year.

My weekend

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend! Mine was exciting but in the wrong type of way. I've always wished that I had a more exciting life, maybe you really do have to be careful about what you wish for.

Saturday

On Saturday, I did the usually. I went to Cats Protection to work and then afterwards went to my friend Alicia's party, which was lovely and her cats could be a circus act (they were back flipping!!) By the time I got home it was about 9 'o' clock at night and to be honest I just wanted to sleep. So, I went upstairs and finished 'The perks of being a wall flower' (which I absolutely loved and probably going to go and see the movie soon) When my mum called me downstairs and told me that my sister has had an allergic reaction to Vaseline and we need to go to hospital.(Right, basically when she was 7 she had a massive allergic reaction to nuts and the doctor's told us to avoid nuts from then on. But stupidly we bought a almond Vaseline  which she then put on her lips.)  and so by this time it was about 11:30 pm, and we rushed to A & E where she got seen immediately. It was about - I don't know - 2:30 on Sunday morning when I got a pack of the sweet's Randoms, this is irrelevant to the story but it was the first time I had Randoms at 2:30 in the morning ok it was a special moment. We didn't get out of the hospital until about 3:30 am and then didn't get back home until about 4 am! My sister was fine afterwards and it was a long day.

Sunday

My Sunday didn't really start until about 2 in the afternoon as that was the time we got up after our late night. So, as a reward for being so good ( aw I sound like a 7 year old aw) My parents got me and my sister a good ol' Costa. It was going so well until Hannah got a delayed reaction and unfortunately had to go to hospital again. I persuaded my parents to let me stay at home as I've discovered I'm absolutely terrified of hospitals.So, my parents and sister didn't return until about 10 at night. I made my own dinner and everything. wow.

So that was my weekend, well more like event. I hope yours was good.

Hello everyone! IT'S FRIDAY *cue Rebecca Black* I hope you all have a good ol' weekend and do anything that makes you happy. For me, I have one of my bestfriend's birthday party (Hello Alicia, I know she'll be reading this) but I hope you guys have a good one as well.
