Sorry!

Hello everyone! First off, I am so sorry for the lack of posts recently, I have been ridiculously busy with exams, mentoring and DofE related things...yeah you can tell I'm back at school! I literally feel like I've been on my feet for the past week and I haven't had a proper time to sit down with a cup of tea and write a blog post! I hope you can understand, I haven't been deliberately not posting! So how has everyone been? *waits for you to respond* oooh right, sounds fun!  

So, I have my Duke of Edinburgh final this weekend, which incase you don't is a course which you can do alongside exams where it tests your mapping, teamwork and camping skills. It also means walking for a minimum of 6 hours with 10kg on your back for 2 days, which is not fun. The only fun thing is being with your friends, however it can get nasty if 5 girls are stress, tire and lost...the point is that it is meant to look very good on your CV.

I thought I would show you some practice expedition photos, and after the weekend I'll show you the real thing!

Harry Potter Land | Warner Brothers Studio Tour #2

Hello everyone!! So a couple days ago, I uploaded a blog post called "Harry Potter Land| Warner Brothers Studio Tour #1" which it part one of m trip to harry potter world & this is part two for however was interested haha!

Also, on my reactions bar at the bottom of each post, I noticed someone rated part one as boring which I haven't got a problem with because that is your personal opinion but sorry for it being boring! 

I shall try and jazz the part up a bit the best I can :)

Harry Potter Land | Warner brothers studio tour #1

Hello everyone!! so on Thursday, me and my family embarked on a literal magical journey to the wizarding world of Harry Potter in London! I will admit it, I am a secret potterhead & i'm not afraid to admit it! 

The first harry potter film (Harry Potter and the philosophers stone) came out in 2001 when I was 3, so I have basically grown up with flying cars and magic spells, a bit deceiving & disappointing to reality but it was so nice to watch the harry potter grow and finally visit the sets that I spent most of my younger years 'oohing' and 'awing' at!

I'm not even exaggerating when I say that I screamed when I saw the harry potter sign!

((I strongly suggest around now that you once again grab a cup of your preferred hot drink & 2 biscuits!))

*Spoilers alert now, if you are going soon or plan to go soon, don't read!*

 All the portraits and pictures of harry potter characters that were in the entrance (yes the camera already came out in the entrance)

I found Luna Lovegood's potrait! After many years of deciding, I can say that Luna is my absolute favourite character because her character is so random but yet wise, I love it! There is also another reason why she is my favourite character and that is because of how the actress, Evanna Lynch got the role of lovely Luna. 

Evanna Lynch wrote to JK Rowling at the age of 11 to look for hope I guess as she was severely anorexic and was literally fighting death. To her surprise, JK Rowling responded in the way a counsellor would, saying how "anorexia is destructive, not creative, and the brave thing was not to succumb to it."

Obviously, this lead to back and forth letters to each-other when eventually Evanna mentioned how she would love to be in a film & so JK Rowling accepted this and said that she could play Luna once she got better! All it needed was a lot of fighting and movitvation from her idol and Evanna beat Anorexia and lived on to play Luna in the harry potter films, ultimately because JK Rowling saved her life and gave her something to fight for! True Story.

Fun In The Sun

Hello everyone!! If you live in England you will know that it has been unusually hot this weekend and most of this week! I originate from Wales so I am really not used to hot weather and I just awkwardly walk around when its hot. So, with this in mind, On Sunday afternoon I awkwardly walked around the village with some friends! It was so lovely to relax and just wander around! If you haven't yet tried this, you really should! 

Me and Alicia sitting on the bridge very dramatically and it looks like we are deep in thought, when actually we were trying not to laugh because we couldn't actually see anything as the beams of the bridge were in the way.

We were doing cartwheels and rolypoly's in the park, but little did we know one of my neighbours was watching us and laughing ha

Cats Protection Open Day!!

Hello everyone!! Yesterday (Saturday) I participated in an Cats protection open day seeing as I work there :) If you don't know, Cats protection is a charity that re-home lost or unwanted cats to loving owners :) So, basically my job is to fuss and love cats! 

Anyway, It was such a cute day and I had the pleasure of helping run a stall that had games like 'Hook-a-duck' and 'Hoopla'!

It was such a nice day with so many people, I even got asked for a photo with my sister for the newspaper! I also had to supervise people who wanted to look at cats, all together 17 cats were adopted in one day, amazing! 

Also, my mum entered a raffle and won a BMW convertible for a weekend, I honestly can't wait to ride in it!

Exciting newz

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? It's half way through the week so not far to the next weekend. *Thank god* Anyway, I'm just doing a quick update as I'm quite busy at the moment with GCSE's blah blah blah... 

well, my sister is getting better, she has been back to the hospital since Monday but she's doing alright :-) and some exciting newsss! (well it's more exciting for me than it is for you but hey ho I though you'd want to know) I have booked some concert tickets for The Midnight Beast and Bastille at the Great Escape Festival in Brighton! I'm so so happy to go and see my 2 favorite bands ON THE SAME DAY! Obviously they're at different times with a good 5 hours inbetween but that's just gives me a excuse to go to the beach :~) and I'm seeing The Script in 17 days! I'm a busy bee this year.
