Double Liebster Blog Award!

Hello Everyone!!  I have once again been nominated for the Liebster blog award by the lovely Emily and Ashley ♡ Thank you! I feel so privileged to be nominated for the liebster blog award more than once, it's so rewarding so thank you to all! I shall continue these because there are SO many blogs that deserved to be recognised!

The rules:
The 11 questions from Emily:

1. What is the one thing you love the most?
Out of everything? Well a place would be my room because it just relaxes me. A item would probably be my mighty topshop boots and a person would be..I honestly don't know because you have to define love really. Ha, I'm so good at answering questions.

2. If you could do anything with your life what would you do?
I would do something I love for money. My worst nightmare is working at a job that I despise! Then after that, I would use the money to travel the world and visit as many things as I could before I die.

3. What one thing do you always wear or bring with you?
I always bring my ipod wherever I go, you never know when you could fit in a cheeky song or two!

4. What is the meaning of life to you?
To me, I think the meaning of life is to complete as many of your dreams as you can & never regret anything because at one point it was what you wanted.((and to have a family and stuff but that could be one of your dreams so))

5.What is one way you get creative?
via blogging I guess, I'm not very good at art so this is the most creative I come really! But sometimes if I really like something or someone, I will make something in honour of them. For Example, I made a scrapbook for PointlessBlog and MarcusButlerTV . Another way I become creative is from influence, such as KickThePJ as he is extremely creative (I might do a blog post about him)

6. Favorite food?
Chocolate covered raisins, without a doubt.

7. Tea, coffee or herbal teas?
Tea mostly, but I do like a costa coffee every now and then...

8. Something your readers don't know about you.
I think they know literally everything about me know, but maybe that I don't wear a lot of make up compared to most 15 year old girls.

9. Gel, mousse, liquid or powder foundation?
I don't wear foundation, but I feel that liquid maybe followed by some powder would be the way.

10. Lipstick or lipgloss?
Lipstick everytime! I think lipgloss is a bit too sticky for my liking.

11. Why did you start blogging?
I have always liked the idea of making something and then broadcasting it, hence why I want to go down the media line! and also because I was inspired to by Zoella

The 11 questions from Ashley:

1. What is your favorite drugstore makeup product?
I don't really wear much make-up, even though I'm actually really interested in it. But I think my favourite would be mascara, as that's what I use daily :)

2. What is something you love about using makeup?
Well If i did use more make-up, I would probably say the creativity of it & how you can design your face practically ha.

3. What is something your readers don't know about you?
I just got my first job waitressing for weddings :)

4. What is you favorite skincare product?
Simple moisturiser ha

5. What is your dream job?

Be a producer at BBC Radio One! You can control a radio show without the pressure of hosting the show.

6. Fears?
Being in tight spaces or being trapped in unfamiliar circumstances I guess

7. What is one makeup product you could live without?
Lipstick, although I am growing very fond of it!

8. One place in the world you'll love to visit?
Greece or Australia definitely.

9. Shoes or Handbags?

Shoes, whenever you look down, you see your feet. So i think you need to make the sight as pretty as you can ;)

10. How would you describe your fashion style?
I would probably descirbe my fashion sense as adventous and mixed! I quite like bright designs or differnet designs, but at the same time I like quite neutral colours as well. Also, sometimes I want to where jeans and a t-shirt, and the other times I would want to wear a skirt. I confuse myself haha

The 11 Bloggers I nomianted are...

*You may have noticed that I've only put down five here, that's because I don't follow enough blogs basically! I have either already tagged the other blogs I follow in previous liebster awards or they have more than 200 followers! So, if you would like to be tagged next time, just leave a link to your blog in the comments and I might follow! It's a win-win situation, you get a follower, I get a new blog to read! :) p.s sorry if I have tagged you before and just tagged you again!*

The 11 questions:

  1. What made you want to start a blog?
  2. What category would you say your blog fit into?
  3. What do you look forward to in the future?
  4. If you had to spend the rest of you life with someone, who would it be?
  5. Do you prefer high-street fashion or top end clothes?
  6. Favourite item of clothing?
  7. What do you want to be when you're older?
  8. Who are/is your inspiration?

Sorry that this has been such a long post, but I do appreciate you reading it!

Secret Post | Little Things

Hello Everyone!! Earlier today I was going through some old documents when I found a document called "Little Things" which I don't remember ever existing, So as most people do I decided to open it and see what it was about. Funnily enough, It was a blog post from before I was even blogging! I read through and it isn't half bad, slightly cheesy but a good message! So, I thought I would show you!

Have you ever seen something little that has put a smile on a face? Like animals taking care of each other or nice texts? You’d be surprised how much little things every now and then can really make you happy.

About a year ago, I was really upset about something I can’t quite remember (show’s how important it was) My parents were about to go food shopping and I thought it wouldn't do me any favours to stay at home and just sit there and cry, so I decided to go with them. I didn't think this trip would cheer me up at all but it was just a distraction. So I grabbed my Ipod, headphones and headed for the car whilst the parents were getting bags for the food. We set off on our journey to ASDA and I was just sitting in the back listening to music and thinking about why I was upset. This then led to me getting even more upset...

We passed many fields of sheep and various farm animals on our way, but about halfway there we went down this road with two steep hills facing us on either side of the car. I thought nothing of this seeing as I’ve been down it before, but near the end when the hills started to decline back down to earth, on the side of one hill was a smiley face made out of hubcaps. It’s a bit silly really but this little touch on the side of the hill brought a smile back to my face. The effort someone had to go through to get 15 hubcaps, climb up the side of the steep hill and create a smiley face, that’s what made me smile. The fact the society has got so selfish and unpleasant, and yet there are still people out there who put the effort into little things. This one person had potential pulled me back and made me realised that not everyone is bad, that there are still nice caring people out there.

So my message really is never think nobody cares, because people you least expect too can pick you back up. It may be a little smile here and there, or a compliment but even these little things can make someone’s day.

Now it’s your turn. I want you to do a little thing every day. Like I said, it could be a smile here and there or just offering to help someone on an everyday task, just these little things could make someone smile: It could make someone feel like you care. Whenever someone looks down, go make sure there okay, whether you know them or not.  I’ll be happy to know if you’ve helped even one single person to have a better day, this is good enough for me

Well, that was a sneaky secret post, I hope it made some sense! This also links nicely to my new page that I have created. It's called "Feeling Down?". I have found some links to websites from something called "The Quiet Place Project" that will help you when you feel sad,

Swanage | A weekend getaway with the school

Hello again! It's been so long since I last posted, sorry! but unfortunately the hostel me and my school stayed in ,in Swanage had no internet access which was torture for me, seeing as I'm an internet addicted teenager...
But anyway, as a Geography trip, me and about 50 fellow students went to Swanage to study coastal protection & erosion blah blah blah because as it turns out, Swanage is practically getting torn apart by the sea (well not all of it, just cliffs and stuff but you know, i just want to make a completely dull subject exciting) So, for the past 4 days I have been a tourist & took lots of photos that I thought I would share with you :-)
So the first place we visited was Barton-On-Sea, because the cliffs were falling apart and I actually have no idea why I took this picture, just that it looks like it should belong in Spain or something. We picked such a good weekend to go because It was so so hot, I got burnt on the first day ha!
We then headed over to a hill (which I can't remember the name of) to see a bay and a headland, then we had a really long & boring lecture about how they are formed, followed by an hour and a half of classroom work every night.
After the classroom, we headed out to Swanage and chilled on the beach for a while (by this time if was about 9 ish) and we decided to take a nice picture on the beach but this is what happened instead, I don't even know what we are doing but we call this 'posing'.
After this awkward attempt at a beach picture, we went to the arcade where we didn't win anything sadly :(
Our second day in Swanage, we went to Visit Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, which are really famous for being naturally beautiful and I see why! the only thing that ruined it was that it was so hot and we were trekking around so I didn't full appreciate it... still really beautiful though!
(This isn't Durdle dorr but it was still beautiful and definately looks like it should be in a exotic country)
Cheeky panoramic view
This is  Lulworth Cove, probably one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen! honestly, if you're going to Swanage soon, go here because its all good seeing it as a photo, but when you see it with you're own two eyes it is really breathtaking.
Ta da! This is Durdle door, a giant arch in rock which people drive off and swim through! It also had such a beautiful beach, honestly one of the best beaches I have visited in my 15 years of life!

This was the other side of Durdle Door, now does that look like England?! Look at the sea!

Well those are most of the pictures I took, It was honestly a really good trip (although I'm sure I sweated a literal ocean over the past four days & we did a lot of work) everyone was really nice and the weather was a bit hot but absolutely brilliant! Overall, I think we visited about 7 beaches, maybe 8 in total whilst in Swanage!
I hope you enjoyed this post! Do you like these 'photo album' kind? I'm trying to add more photos instead of having a huge lump of writing.
Only 2 and a half days of school until Summer Holidays!
~Thanks for reading~
P.s One of my favourite bands recently released their debut album, well you can pre-order it but it comes out soon! They are called Cast of Lions (previously Chapters) and honestly, their music is so unique and special. They are a really small band so go and check them out!

Fun In The Sun

Hello everyone!! If you live in England you will know that it has been unusually hot this weekend and most of this week! I originate from Wales so I am really not used to hot weather and I just awkwardly walk around when its hot. So, with this in mind, On Sunday afternoon I awkwardly walked around the village with some friends! It was so lovely to relax and just wander around! If you haven't yet tried this, you really should!

Me and Alicia sitting on the bridge very dramatically and it looks like we are deep in thought, when actually we were trying not to laugh because we couldn't actually see anything as the beams of the bridge were in the way.
We were doing cartwheels and rolypoly's in the park, but little did we know one of my neighbours was watching us and laughing ha
[From Left to Right: Holly, Me & Lauren. Alicia was taking the picture]
This looks like I was posing but I was actually just picking a bouquet of daises to give to Lauren haha

What did you do this weekend? Let me know!
Thank you to Lauren, Holly & Alicia for a lovely afternoon :-)
~Thanks for reading!~
P.S There might not be another post until next Wednesday as I am going away with the school for a bit, but I promise it shall be worth the wait! x

Small Haul | Boots,Topshop & Ebay

Hello Everyone! Sorry I haven't posted a lot recently! I have had a very bad and hectic week but luckily I still have a blog to help me de-stress and forget about school :) So recently, I completely splashed out and treated myself to some new gear, so I thought you would like to see what I bought with my leftover birthday money!
The first thing I bought was the 'Mighty Black leather Zip boots' from Topshop. These boots are probably the royalty of shoes! They are such good quality with a simple yet absolutely gorgeous design. They also feel extremely comfortable and with all these aspects considered, I think £45 is a bargain for such genuine and beautiful shoes. They have a Zip detail on the outside of each shoe and a heel no bigger than 3 inches, which means you can either were them causally or to a smart event/party, such amazing little shoes these are! The only thing that I would say is that they are big fitting, so I suggest that whatever size you are, you get the next size down :)

The next thing was the Models own range of nail polishes in 'Grapefruit' & 'Golden Peach' which are such pretty names for such pretty nail polishes! The grapefruit is a pastel lilac which I found (depending on the lighting) can be seen as pink or purple, which is really interesting and different compared to most nail polishes. But it is such a nice and summery colour, it brightens up any and every outfit. The only bad thing I would day is that even with 2 coats it starts to chip after a day or so, which isn't the best of quality but for such a pretty colour, I can accept the little imperfections.

After that, I still have some spending juice left and so I decided to buy the Chicago Lions jersery top from Topshop. I have had my eye on this for sometime now and so I was overjoyed when I went to buy it and found out that there was a 50% discount! I bought it two sizes too big as I like baggy jumpers, however I feel that if I did buy my actual size it would still be a good fitting. I really like this top because of the colour and design.

Believe it or not, I then went on to buy two more things! I bought the dog tee from Ebay, however it was originally from Lazy Oaf, one of my favourite stores! The top is cropped, but not half-way-up-your-tummy cropped, just a little of the bottom. There is also a really nice contrast between the black sleeves and the grey design, which I think works well to create a unique design. It also has a bat-wing sleeve.

The last and by no means least thing I bought was the 'Sounds Like Good' tee from The Midnight Beast store. I love this design because it's colourful yet simple and once again it's not particularly tight. You ould wear it with anything as it's a white top!

What have you bought recently?
~Thank you for reading!~

P.S You can get the MIGHTY Black Leather Zip here | You can get Models own nail varnish in Grapefruit & Golden Peach here |  unfortunately the Chicago Lions top and the dog top are unavailable but I have no doubt that they will be on ebay soon! | Sounds Like Good tee from The Midnight Beast Store! (surprise, surprise)
